"Spread the word."
Everybody hates chain mail, especially the ones that claim that you'll die if you don't repost. But what about one that drives the viewer insane?
Smile.dog is supposedly one of the original "viral" emails, circulating around the early to mid 90's. The email contains a photograph of a Siberian husky with two rows of very human-like teeth, and what appears to be a human hand off to the left. According to rumor, anybody who views this image either goes missing, dies, or loses their mind.
The author pays a visit to an elderly woman who had viewed the photo several years prior in the hopes of finding it himself, but as the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for. What I particularly enjoyed about this pasta was that even though I know it's fake, I couldn't help but feel like I'd known about it for years. That just kind of added to the creep factor.
