Episode IV: A New Hope
The main protagonist of the original trilogy and the farm boy who would go on to save the galaxy from the reign of the evil Galactic Empire.
After the fall of the Empire, Luke follows Yoda's wishes to pass on what he has learned and so he forms the New Jedi Order as its Grand Master, and helps lead the New Republic throughout the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, the Swarm Wars and several other conflicts.
While much of Luke's story has been cast aside as non-canon, I am intrigued by his role in the new trilogy. Time will tell if he becomes the awesome new Jedi Master the galaxy needs.
He's Luke Friggin Skywalker! The quintessential Jedi.
"Perhaps I killed a Jedi and took it from him"
Qui-Gon is amazing for many reasons. First he's played by Liam niesson. Who doesn't like this guy! Second he is extremely smart in the ways of the force, and I believe that if he hadn't been killed anakin might never have become Darth Vader.
Qui-Gon was only around for one movie, but his impact on those around him was never forgotten. He trained possibly one of the greatest Jedi in Obi-wan, and he saw in a little boy what no one else wanted to see. Without Qui-Gon the series would not have been the same, and its sad we had to watch him die the way we did.
